And the countdown has begun.
In just 2 weeks Mark and I will be heading to the airport and start our journey. I can't believe that this is actually going to be happening. It seems so long ago since we started planning this whole thing, and although no one from the dive shop is joining us, I'm sure we'll still have a good time. When have we ever been known not go get along with strangers... That's what makes this trip so special, meeting new people, seeing my family and most of all, spending time with a good friend doing something that we both enjoy...
Now, the next step... packing up our dive gear.

In just a little less than 4 weeks, we will be off on a trip that has been in the makings for over a year and a half. But there is a little more to this trip than just diving, at least for me. It's also giving me a chance to visit again with my family back in Ecuador. The last time I was there, was back in 1986, over 20 years ago. Back then, all we did, for over 3 months, was just visit family. But this time around I want to do more than that. I want to have this trip full of adventure and fun, and of coarse, visit my family...
This trip will begin with a one day stay in Ecuador, where my cousin, Cris and her husband, will be trying to show as much of Ecuador to Mark and I, as the length of his trip will be short due to work. Following that, we will be on way to San Cristobal, Galapagos Islands, where we our adventure will being. We will set sail, on the Sky Dancer Vessel (Peter Hughes Diving) for 1 week of diving. After the week of diving, Mark will have to head back home, due to work. But I've managed to get the time off from my company, and I will be staying on another 2 1/2 weeks. This is where my adventure will continue....
This blog will be used to help chronicle my adventures...
